The Rijksmuseum presents its first major retrospective of the late works of one of the greatest painters who ever lived; Rembrandt van Rijn.

This exhibition, the world’s largest ever, brings together more than 90 paintings, drawings and prints from the world’s leading museums and private collections to showcase Rembrandt at the height of his power. Rembrandt’s later life was marked by tragic personal loss and financial setbacks. Yet it was this time when he produced his best work. It resulted in his most daring and intimate work.
